            The acoustical engineering and consulting industry has many different facets. Sound and its effects can be found in every home, office, theater, and space imaginable. The field of acoustics spans over every designation of work from theoretical research and design, product development, to consultation and its implementation in physical space. Acoustimatic's goal is to provide sound solutions built on the foundations of science to proposed acoustical problems on a client-by-client, job-by-job basis all the while keeping in mind the clients’ budget, aesthetic, and overall needs.

            Acoustimatic was founded by Matthew Beck, who holds a degree in acoustics from Columbia College Chicago. That education left him with extensive knowledge in the fields of architectural, engineered, and environmental acoustics as well as noise abatement and vibration control. It is the blending of these disciplines that allows Acoustimatic the flexibility in solving many proposed acoustical problems.
